Odometer stopped working

Well, I f***ed up. Getting the new worm gear onto the motor's shaft is near impossible. It's just too tight. In the process, one of the gauge cluster ribbon cables pulled out. Chit! I'm still going to try to get that damn worm gear onto the motor shaft and pray I can get that ribbon cable back into the connection. Send me good vibes, lol

Boil it in hot water to soften it up just before you slide it on the shaft. Even putting the shaft in the freezer will help as well.
