Next problem,
still the 1998 5.4 EB
Erased all the codes.
Still idling bit rough between 670 - 730 rpm and drives with some hesitation....
Also the mpg run skyhigh 1 liter for 4 kilometers, not funny
After driving for like 20 min had two codes.
P0113 Intake Air Temperature sensor 1 circuit high.
I sprayed it with cleaner and it's gives the rigth temp. 30 degrees Celsius.
A have put in some water and the temperature dropped and when I take it between my fingers temperatures rises.
My guess that it's still working but why the code??
P1131 O2 sensor bank 1, also the sensor data OBDII gives me no reading of any voltages.
When I bought the car the CEL was ON and that had been for a couple of years, never had problems. They told me that it was the O2 sensor cause of the dirty fuel here.
Would cleaning the O2 help??
Please HELP, getting crazy here!!!
Also read that vacuum problems could be the intake manifold gasket, how can you check that? I can see some oildirt underneath the TB.
ps, No elbow on the Island so made it myself, stainless 90 degree elbow and 2 pieces of fuelhose, taped and no problems.
