Payload and GCWR with HD Tow Option on a Max (EL)

Payload is passengers + load + tongue weight of towed vehicle. This on the door sticker. Payload is NOT listed in the towing guide ! (2017 EL payload was about 1400. Tongue weight of a large trailer is 600-800 lbs so there is not much left for passengers and gear !)

Except that the aluminum body is 300 lbs lighter so that one or 1-1/2 people.
