Have any of you permanently disabled your front parking sensors? Hitting the reset button every time I turn the ignition seems like a tolerable but less than ideal solution.

Is there a way change the front park assist default from <on> to <off>? That way, you could scroll through the setup and reset it if you wanted it to be on.

There is a selection to set it to the off position on the display. It will stay this way until turned back on in the same screen.

A suggestion that I made to someone here was to re-mount the sensors to the brush bar. This way you won't lose that functionality.

looked at doing this but it would look like crap if you did it. You would have to either weld on tabs and leave the sensor on the outside OR use 2" round tube which would look like crap too in my opinion.

As you can see the sensors are not quite as easy to hide as one might think.

See, those are my favorite kind of fabrication jobs. The ones where everyone else says, 'there's no good way of doing it'.

Ranch Hand sells Sensor covers. These stick over the sensors so that items like Grill Guards dont set them off. Works like a charm. On my 2014 Expy, I installed a grill guard and of course, the annoying beep never stops. I only had to put these cover on the 2 center sensors, while leaving the outside sensors alone. Worked like a charm, they seem to work just like before
