Popping in dash

Heard a popping noise in dash, now heat is no hot on driver side and blows cold on passenger side, also no heat in the rear, you can hear the fan blowing but nothing coming out till I turn it to cold then it blows out the vents. Are these two things connected or two separate issues?

my 2010 does this to right after startup: pop,pop,pop,pop,pop in rhythm, then stops.....?

Its the blend door, it needs to b replaced. Its behind the dash and the clip that holds it is broken causing it to "tap". My nav did this as well. Theres threads that show how to fix it.
