Possible to get Ford Extended warranty when buying used?

We are looking at getting a 2022 Expedition, probably Limited trim. Is it still possible to buy the Ford Protect extended warranty? Does it have to be within the 3 yr/36k bumper to bumper to be able to get it? Thanks.

No, it does not have to be in the 3 yr/36k warranty. To be safe, if you do find a deal on one that is out of the bumper-to-bumper warranty, go to a Ford Dealership and buy a certified pre-owned vehicle. You will then get a 1 year 12,000-mile warranty and a 7 year 100,000-mile powertrain warranty. The 7 years starts at the original purchase date.
