punching out catalatic converters on my EXPO

HELLO all i was wondering if i was to punch out 2 of the 4 convertors on my truck if it will run like crap it has 4 cats on it and i am running straight pipes right now with no muffler and its still not really loud but kinda sounds like crap so want to punch out cats and put some flow masters or something on??? i do not have much money so buying aftermarket high flow cats are out of the picture thanks!!!!

from what I have read on this forum, you can delete the rear two with out sending a check engine light on

Rear delete works ... Walnuts has it, and says no problems.

I also have the rears removed. No problems.

i had all 4 knockd out for a year berfore i did my lightning swap u get CEL if u dont del rear o2s from ur ecu but it wnt hurt anything other that turn the light on

U will need a big hammer and a long screwdriver if u knock out the upper ones and reuse the hollow pipes lol as i did reuse all the same pipes just hollowd out

I dont have rears and no problems with mine... but I would put some mufflers on if you do a rear cat delete... otherwise you will loose too much back pressure and it will hurt your low end....
