I'm in agreement with you, unfortunately, my dealer isn't! Since I'm in a small town with only one Ford dealer, doesn't give me much for options. I might try chatting with the service manager, Although I suppose the man whose name is on the sign has a little more say in the matter.

A lot of dealers sell aftermarket parts... If you buy the lift from them they will definitely go out of their way to look the other way when it comes to warranty issues. Might be a premium on price but bring in a better price and see if they will price match or at very least meet half way... They are making money on the labor to install as well...

I was intending to update what i went through when installing my lift on the CCD given the advice published here I just hadnt got to it yet. Now I have an issue and am hoping to get some advice from others who have a lift installed on CCD and or caution those who are thinking about it.
As for the front, I attempted to switch the lh and rh struts but no matter which way i rotated it i could not get the upper mount to line up aswell as the lower mounting points. i spent a good hour just trying different orientations thinking I was doing something wrong and I decided to move forward without switching the shocks. when the car was on a hoist there did not seem to be any clearance issues.
As for the rear switching the shocks did work as described and caused no issue.
So, lift was done, all was well and good, no driving issues. I was stoked on it!
My wife took the car to the dealer for our free oil change. and they informed her that the cv boots were torn...
as soon as she got back i crawled under there and sure enough.. those solenoids were rubbing on the cv boots and tore both front boots.
I have to find a solution to this issue, I am too deep in this one to go back to stock..
anyway, if anyone has experience with this I would appreciate input. and if you think all is well with your CCD lift.... I suggest you take a look at the cv boots where the axle goes through the knuckle.


See my previous post. We used a spring compressor and took the strut apart, allowing us to rotate the top spacer to align the holes for reinstallation. We did this only after trying to switch the right/left struts, which, as you indicate, will not work (at least on my 2019).

Great thread, I appreciate all the insights. Has anybody tracked their MPG before and after the lift? I’m curious how much lifting the truck changes the aerodynamics, and therefor fuel efficiency. (Let’s be clear—Nobody buys a land yacht like these and expects it to be a Prius, but I drive 25,000+ miles a year, so I’m curious.)

I too am a bit curious, should we make a new thread?
Though honestly the tires you choose will have a bigger effect on milage than the lift. AT and MT tires are tougher ie thicker/heavier so rotation mass is going up. Then compound that with taller sizes and now gear ratios are changing, then when you go wider your contact patch is going up which has plusses (more dry traction) but that also creates more resistance.

Anyone tried aftermarket upper control arms with the spacer lift? From what I gather it helps keep the factory geometry and creates some extra space for tire width at the same time.

Ready lift 3/2 worked great with the adjustable CCD links from ebay!
My end result was nearly on at an after measurement of 2.75 inch front and 1.75on rear.

Hey man. This is the best looking I’ve seen! Please exactly what size tires and rims? Offset? And did u have to trim anywhere? Thanks!

After reading these posts I was worried about this with my '19. But in my case, switching sides worked flawlessly front and back. YMMV. I really appreciate everyone sharing their experiences. I'll post up a pic after I get my new wheels this weekend.

Hello all! I've been a lurker on this thread for a while, but I found the thread really helpful, so I thought I would post a picture of my wife's ride after the lift install. I installed the Readylift 3/2 on a 2019 Stealth Edition with CCD suspension. On the front struts, we used a spring compressor to allow us to loosen and rotate the top flange 180 degrees to fix the issue regarding the electronic solenoids on the struts, and avoid reinstalling the strut with the solenoids facing out. On the rear we simply swapped the left and right side struts after the lift spacers where installed. Following the OP, we used the iPhone measurement tool and installed the adjustable sensor position arms following his advice. Finally, we used 1.25" BORA wheel spacers (does require trimming the studs, but nothing to be afraid of...) which allowed for a 325/50R22 (roughly 34.5" x 12.8" R22) tire after a little trimming of the fender well. We also trimmed the automatic running boards 3" on each side, although I'm not positive this was necessary at all, and certainly 3" was not, but it looks fine. To trim them, remove them from the truck, use a chop saw to cut, and replace the plastic end cap.

The wheels are a nice touch, looks great! That looks so boss that if it were mine I would have a pile of boulders dumped in my driveway to park it on as my garage would be far too coddling for something of this baddasseryness.

It's a little dark, but it's basically flush at the top. I think +12 to +20 is hardly going go be a noticable difference.

Hi guys,

I just had the Readylift 3/2 kit installed with the CCD suspension and one of our member's (Miekk) product with adjustable links for the CCD arms. I had a local shop put it together but I am now feeling like the CCD suspension is a little harsher than before. When i compare with Miekk's photos below, they look way off lol. I guess I will try to match up visually to these photos and see what happens!

Hi guys,

I just had the Readylift 3/2 kit installed with the CCD suspension and one of our member's product with adjustable links for the CCD arms. I had a local shop put it together but I am now feeling like the CCD suspension is a little harsher than before. I know this may be asking a lot, but can someone measure the front and back lengths (ball-to-ball) of the adjustable links for me to compare for those who have them? The local shop had a hard time figuring out how to install these, and so I referred to this original post that seems to have helped them. They essentially switched L-to-R on both Fronts and Back struts to make this work.

From my experience I don’t think the linkage makes a bit of difference. Zero change with or without them as far as ride quality and zero codes. The ride is stiffened up with the lift. The R/L is a spacer lift. No drop down brackets to maintain factory geometry. I don’t think it changed it drastically but it is a firmer ride. If it’s a drastic change maybe check and see they have all the shocks connected and installed properly. The guy you bought the links from should know the length if he’s selling them for the CCD’s.
