So my remote start just stopped working this morning. When I push the button I get the 1 honk from the horn then I get 3 honks and nothing? The only thing I have done was updated my SYNC last night ? Anyone have this happen ?

Is this a factory Ford remote start ?
If so, 3 honks usually means that a door, the tailgate, or the rear glass is not closed.

Hi atmasters,

I just want to touch base with you and make sure your remote start concern has been resolved. Any news?

Crystal

Yes so fare so good. I think it was a door that must have been open a little. Since I checked all the doors I have not had a problem.

Lucky, I've been trying to figure out my issue. I only get one honk. According to the trouble shooting manual, codes start a 2 honks and up. Noting states what one means.

Usually ONE honk means the "Securilock" is not programmed correctly or the ring is damaged.

Was it working before ? You could try reprogramming it and see if it works, otherwise you may need to replace the "Securilock" ring around the ignition switch.

Shoot me a PM with your email if you need instructions.
