Replacement for coin holder?

That is a great idea. I had a similar mount in my previous vehicle. The only thing that would stop me from doing this is that the wireless charger does not work with the metal plate on the back of your phone and I use the wireless charger a lot.

I just installed my coin holder mod from the seller on Etsy. It literally took longer to find my 1/8” drill bit than to install the phone holder. My iPhone 6s + (which is the same size as the latest iPhone XS Max) fits perfectly with every part of the screen clearly visible.

I made my own mount. Removed the coin holder then cut a piece of composite with a carbon fiber overlay slightly larger than the coin holder hole and used double sided tape to hold it in.
I mounted the magnetic phone mount to the composite. Looks OEM.

I installed as well. Took 5 minutes, maybe. Works great!!!!

Any suggestions for a blank fill? I’m trying to replace the coin holder with a KC HiLites switch.
