RPO relay box (run. board lights)

hi the location according to ALLDATE is above the passenger airbag,on top of dash under oval pop-out.

according to ALLDATA thats where running boards relay...there is a box there but doesnt look similar...dont want to mess with it yet.

my problem is...when door is opened,running board lights,and the light inside above head doesnt light.

door marker lights work thou,both sides....but not running boards......any HELP PLEASE
