im looking for some ideas on how to fix this. I have a white xlt sport y2k. It will never be a shoow truck as i live in the mountais of ne pa and drive rock roads regularly. I was thinking i could rhino line the lower section of the truck to seat the rust that is starting and help protect the areas that have not been affected. the rust isnt tooo bad just starting to show thru the paint. but just wanted to hear what you guys thoughts before i get started.

I had this issue at the bottom of the drivers and passenger's doors. The rust was collecting along the seam at the bottom of the inside of the doors. I scrubbed it with rubbing compound and then put six layers of heavy Mother's wax on it. It hasn't returned. I think I want to rhino line the bottom quarter of my whole Expy all the way around, and I may hit this with some rustoleum on the inside in a similar pattern on all of the doors for good measure. You have to get rid of the rust or stop it before you line it. I guess you could rustoleum it and then line it. Oh, and min is a Y2K too... Silver.
