Screen Configuration Question

Anyone know of a way to get the outside temp to display anywhere OTHER than the top of the 8" infotainment display? Seeing as it disappears when in Apple CarPlay mode, I am looking to see if there is a work around.

Nope. Big miss on Ford's part.

Idk what cluster you have but in my 2017 expy i was able to get it to show in the right mfd in my type 3 cluster

Agreed, it disappears in Android Auto as well, would be nice to have in the gauge cluster somewhere. I know it's old and clunky, but I used to love Subaru's and Toyotas that had a simple LCD clock and temp dedicated display on the dash. You know, it could go right in front of the center speaker...

Or let me set it to the cluster, switch out the compass in the bottom right corner to this. Ugh!

no kidding!! I have used that compass exactly ZERO times

It's annoying, but my trick to see the temperature (when Apple Carplay is on) is to press the Rear climate button twice. You see the outside temperature at the top of the screen for a few seconds as it switches back and forth.
