Purchased Ford Pro-Racer tuning package from SCT. Now I can actually create or modify my own tune(s). This programming is very impressive. It gives you access to every aspect of the tune as the professional tuners have and is a very powerful tool. You can create as many tunes as you like and save them. The sct flash device itself also holds up to three tunes at a time that you may flash the ECU with.

I just created my first tune. No..... im not crazy. I realize I have a lot to learn first. Its just a modified version of my tuners Expy/lightning tune. All I did at this point was return tranny torque reduction table back to stock. It was actually turned off in the tune. Concerned with the additional torque causing an issue or hitting a limit somewhere. Thinking this is whats causing the computer to cut fuel on the shifts, shortly thereafter timing. Believe I posted somewhere I was having issues with full throttle shifts.

Well its wet out right now so can't test it yet. :(

Note: I did try and get on it earlier in the rain and with the 4wd she scoots all over the place.

I paid $500 for it through my tuner with his tech support. He also had to sign off on my custom expy/lightning program so I could use and make changes to it. I obviously could not start from scratch as a beginner. Without his tune I would have had to start with my stock expy tune. Way to many differences between the two. Injectors, mass air, timing, fuel, load tables, etc...

I had to have it because I have to tinker!!! Mustang was much easier...Everything on the expy is controlled through the puter.
