How many of guys on here run Sct? I know with diesels Sct or Spartan are two of the better ones for powerstrokes. Lookin to get a tuners for mine but really up in the air on what to get.

I am using a SCT custom programmer. I needed it with my setup. The edge seems to be one of the more popular choices here.

the edge is nice for the added shift pressure and the little added fuel mileage. honestly i think its ok. i dont think any programmer is gonna be a wow for gas trucks unless ut tom and well he has to have a programmer but then again he is not the average gas truck

I just received my Edge EVO/HT today and already tuned it using the 87 Octane tune, and I got to tell you, the truck acts like a big boy now. The 4.6 hesitated at take off and requied full throttle for it to get up and go trying to pass someone. The shifts are much firmer and the truck takes off like nothing before and at cruising speed, a partial throttle is all that is needed for it to kick down and take off quickly. I instantly fell in love with it. And I used the advanced tuning with the 87 Octane tune, but there is 4 other tnes to choose from also with the advance tune selection, or you can use the basic tune recommended by many as Edge puts it. My speedo is correct now with the 33"s and the RPM's are at proper range.

I know a friend of mine put in his livewire from his mustang into his 03 expy and was impressed. He still hasnt had any customs tunes programmed for it just playing with it for now and he is happy. My next question is whats better bang for the buck, sct or edge?

I love my edge CS... does everything I need it too... but if I get the money I wanna go with a Gyphron from PHP next

Only using a tuner with a CAI and Exhaust, I find that kinda hard to believe. Especially when you state improved 100% over stock.

Ok...I admit it. The other mods might have had more to do with it..

CAI, exhaust, built block, TFS heads, comp cams, blower, chiller killer, etc.. just minor stuff....lol.
