Looking for suggestions on keeping tool box from sliding around in the back of Expedition. I drive primarily with the third row down and have the large weather tech mat in place. My thought is to find a couple simple metal hooks and could find a creative way to anchor into the plastic along the sides with a minimal profile so I could simply strap it in and out without getting in way of the third row when I use it.

Rubber mat in between the plastic cargo mat and the tool box. You wouldn't need to secure it to either one.

Yeah I bet if I didn't use the weather tech cargo mat it would be better on just carpet itself.

I was hoping to find a place to secure 1 or 2 of these tie down anchors, but wasn't happy with my options for placement.

So i just used the tether anchor from one of the second row bucket seats and a bungee cord.IMG_1181.JPG

Nothing slides on my Weather Tech mat. I carry tool boxes and stuff.
