Spare tire

I was told I need to buy a new bar to remove my spare tire. It usually goes under the hood of the car, where it clips on its bracket by the engine.where can I locate this to buy online? And if there's anywhere in Miami someone can recommend.

I have an 06 and mines in the back where the jack is not under the hood...have you checked there?

Got a 04 and same here.. It is where the jack is...

The long rod mounted under the hood for the spare tire winch is on the first generation,
'97 to '02.

check a junkyard for either a f150 or expy... should be same bar as long as you stick to similar GENs

Yeah unfortunately it's supposed to be under the hood.and I check where the jack is but no luck. I do have a few junk yards around. I wanted some input though. Thank you
