Ok I just had a problem with my fuel relay, I replaced the pump filter and soldered a new fuel relay onto my fuse box.
I have two codes
P1405 FORD - DPF EGR Sensor Circuit High Voltage Detected
P0705: Transmission Range Sensor Circuit Malfunction (PRNDL Input)

I just got it towed home and it started right up.
But basically I’ll wake up and drive to work without stopping and then I’ll wait till after work and drive home no problems other than running a little rough, but if I need to stop for gas my truck won’t start up after, it turns and cranks and starts but idles at 2-300 rpm and then stalls out. It does this several times until it won’t even start and idle at low Rpms after I’d say 10 try’s over 30 minutes. This has happened to me 3 times now and after waiting 10-30 mins it starts up. But now this time I waited 3 hours and had to have it towed. Sometimes I’ll have lunch but it’s only 5 mins away and after lunch it’ll start right up also. I’m so confused. im Not very educated on vehicles But I do know a little.

Welcome to the site.

Poor idle is probably the egr system. Disconnect the sensor and the code should change to low, out of range or loss of communication. If it stays high the harness is shorted and is sending 5v back on the signal return to the ecm.

Could be one or several items. Check wire harness that goes over a/c line. Check for damaged vacuum lines, the vapor management hose becomes very brittle after time, also the two hoses that come off the dpfe sensor to egr tube. It may also be camshaft sensor or crankshaft sensor. Or it could be idle air control valve, Maf sensor, or intake air sensor. What obd2 code is being given, that would help isolate problem. The point is it could be any of these or a combination of several.

The options printed his 2 codes in first post. The drivability code that's probably causing his running and dying problem .p1405 egr signal trouble. He's got to address that first, then move on if still running rough
