Hey guys, so I'm wiring up my new AVIC-6000NEX in. Found a wiring diagram for all the radio wires. 2 of which are labeled "Sub Mute". Any idea what these are and how they work. Could they have something to do with why my sub won't work with my new unit?

I kind feel like the amp is muted till it gets a signal from the head unit to say it's active and to unmute. Can I jumper the + and - together?

What year truck and did u use a harness? Harness would be the best bet to eliminate the guess work then u only have a couple of wires to hook up...make sure the sub on/off switch is on in the setting and u should have 2 options in ur settings for the rear output...I think it's sub out our full rear in the settings under initial setup...if u can't find it...unhook ur battery for 5 mins and reconnect and go through the settings again...I'm positive is one of those 2 reasons...but need to know what year u have
