Surface mount Tweeters in the rear of EL?

I want to add speakers in the rear of my EL. I sat in the 3rd row the other day to listen to the system after my kids kept telling me to turn up the stereo so they can hear it. I thought it was loud enough. Well sure enough once you sit in the back it is hard to hear when you do not have the THX system. I have seen the surface mount tweeters that you can buy that would be simple to install. BUT again the rear would be lacking the mid's I would think. Does anyone know of a certain speaker maybe a 2" tweeter/mid range that could be mounted in the surface of the back pillar? I know I can buy the new pillar covers from the Lincoln and it would work in mine but I would rather now pay that kind of money then have to turn around and pay more for the speakers... Any suggestions?

the only one comes to mind is the one with the navigator speakers in the D-pillar

Yes that is the same one but if you scroll down through it someone posted pics of surface mounted tweeters in the rear. I think it is on page 2 or 3
