Text Message disable while driving

anybody found a way to disable this so you can read via the screen rather than picking up your phone?

The Lockpick I installed in my 2012 lets you

Not sure what you want to "disable." I can read the message on the display or have the robot read it to me by tapping the screen. Been like this since new, I made no changes.

BTW mine is a '17.

Can't speak for other than a '17, but if you're rolling, the text "text" is blocked. You can only hear it while driving. Same thing as searching for an address in NAV. The function is disabled until you come to a stop.

I've probably been driving when the few texts have come thru. Just press the icon on the panel to hear them.

Disabled Nav functions are a PITA but I can use my Garmin (still on top of the dash).

u can do it with Forscan, I've done it on my 2016.
