well I think it's time for new chains & phasers, I looked online at different complete kits and I'm clueless to what is a good set/brand and what isn't.

I want to replace the chains, guides and tensioners. Both phasers & instal lockout kit, oil pump & pick up screen, water pump a few small things as preventative maintenance.

Any recommendations? I want the best option out there, I wanted motorcraft but I can't find a set made by them.

Kinda want to get a move on this quickly.

Thank you guys/gals

Hey habbibie , Moose here. I know their pricey, but I've heard for long term durability , go with the Ford stuff. The aftermarket parts are hit and miss. You got a 10 hour job on your hands, and as busy as you are, you don't want to redo job. Shop around at dealers, if your regular one doesn't give a good discount. I've heard phasers, chains, guides, gaskets from Ford is about $750.00. It should come as a kit . Keep in mind when you tear it down, you might have to pull oil pan also, if plastic tensioners are worn. Got to clear all that debris out of pan. Good luck, Moose.

Moose yeah I'm piecing all the OEM stuff and all the odds and ends gonna go all OEM except the oil pump.

I'm having a hard time finding a new pick-up screen part # but I think eventually I'm just going to go inside the parts dep in my local dealer and pin point it out.

Thank you for the replay Moose

Habbibie I know this is a couple week old but I had a hard time finding the oil pickup tube as well. Promar requested that it be replaced with the motor swap. Mine was soaked and clean but I decided to make sure that warranty didn't get voided because of some debris I missed. I will look and see if I can figured out where I bought it from. I'm pretty sure it was a Ford Dealer selling on Ebay but I can't seem to find where I bought it.
