I need to take a better photo, but yes, tiny really makes or breaks the look. Personally, I think my wihte Platinum looks better than and Escalade or Denali.

Ooh so time to hijack the thread. So whats your favorite looking suv? If its the expy, say that and if youre second choice.

Me, its a tie between the volvo xc90 with sport 20s and mazda cx9 signature. The plat expy and navi are close seconds. Denali is nice, but so common and with the 20s or alloy 22s look dopey, they need the chrome 22s to look good.

The new XC90 is nice, just wish they were more reliable.

For looks clearly a bagged X5M.

Trackhawk just because as long as it gets a pulley swap, exhaust, and tuned for e85. It's still a fugly ass jeep, but that can be overlooked when running a 10sec 1/4.

I see CUVs and SUVs as two distinct vehicles - and they were until manufacturers hijacked the SUV moniker to make people feel better about buying CUVs. :p I think the Expedition was the best looking SUV up until 2017 w/ maybe the Navi and Escalade behind it. For crossovers, I'm partial to the Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee, though I would never buy either since all of FCA's vehicles are s**t as far as I'm concerned.

That is actually my brothers Trackhawk. He live in the UK, where JLR is headquartered. Let me tell you very very impressive, I drove it before I shipped it to him. Took wife for a spirited drive, her response, wow how much are these?

The GM trucks look best from the outside but Expy/Navi are a close second in my opinion. But as we know looks are only skin deep. Literally everything else is better on the Expy/Navi...except the cargo space behind the third row, lol.

Honestly, a lot of great looking SUV's on the market these day, IMO. Still love the look of the new Escalade, just a sharp looking car, even knowing how much of a turd it is... wouldn't own another GM, unless they GAVE it to me, and even then I'd black out the windows so no one saw me.

Also really, really like the look of the Jeep GC's (I currently drive an SRT), like the new BMW X5's, like the Audi Q7's, and yes, really, really liking the new Expy and Navigators. Just too much chrome on them, a la the Escalade. When I get my new Navi, I'll black out a lot of the chrome. some is ok, they just go nuts.

Finally found time to take a real picture of my 2018. In my previous photo, it looked like my windshield was tinted, which it's not. Overcast and raining at the pumpkin patch today.

I'm looking at tinting all of the windows in mine (black platinum). I'm primarily after keeping the heat out, looks are secondary. I also don't want to push it legally. In Ohio that's 50% on the front windows.

I want to do 45 on the front pair, 35 on the rear and back, 20/35 on the sunroof, and 85 on the front windshield.

Has anyone done the front windshield?

The film is Johnson Window Films, InsulatIR ceramic - seems good from some reviews online. I've never tinted a vehicle before. I was quoted $575 for all of the above without negotiation, so thinking maybe $500 gets it done and feels pretty reasonable.

Anyone have any advice?
