As I've said, this week we started metal works, to change all those things, that had disappeared.

Then we start to put those patches on the right places:

On the last picture you can also see replaced rocker (threshold).
You won't believe, but the rockers have been taken from another car (Attention! Russian car - Volga (new one, of course).
The reason is that there is no fresh Expies of that age, so we had to do this.

Good stuff.
Taking metal from other cars (and appliances like washing machines!) is an old past time I am familiar with. My old SJ413 was more General Electric than Suzuki when I sold it.

Yeah, that's right.
But, partially we forced to act like this because of lack of stuff in good condition and of the high prices in case of brining it from USA.
But, we love this cars, cause it is smth. true and with an odour of Freedom against those cars, that you can by here, in Russia.

Actually, the car is 98% done and I think I can share the result with you now.
