I have an 06 5.4 Expedition with a max tow of 8600. I purchased a travel trailer at 6600, with weight distribution bars. Although I have the chains jacked up it still feels light on the front end. Is this normal. Any advice on towing with this rig would be greatly appreciated. i didnt know if the self leveling suspension could affect it or not.

thanks

just wanted to make sure you disabled the air ride, hooked everything up, then started her up and allowed to level out? you should feel the whole component (expy & trailer) flex as a unit if everything is set up correctly.

How high is your receiver ball compared to the tongue of your trailer?

Attached is one of my previous checklists; never any problems following this.

Hi

No I dont disconnect Anything. Didnt know I could. The way i did it was have the engine running, so that the suspension pumped up. Attach the trailer, lower weight onto ball, then tension chains up 4 links.

The reciever ball is at the top height of the tow hitch,

Please help lol

And thanks for the assistance
