Transmission Issue?

Thanks for the replies. It actually turned out to be a needed tune up. It was pretty expensive (for a tune up), but the truck is running pretty good and accelerating without issue now.

I have an issue with my '07 E Bauer with the tow package, where once in a while, after starting it and shifting to any gear, there is a semi-hard bump, then there is a wrench icon light on the dash. The truck will drive fine, except it never leaves 3rd gear. I've put my odbII reader on it but no codes. If I turn it off, then switch the key from off to run 3-10x fast without starting it, like setting up new key fobs, it will clear itself for a while(a week-3 weeks), then it does it again. Has anyone had an issue like this? What's the fix?
