Well, i was out messing with me truck this afternoon, trying to figure out why it's running so sluggish.

I found one thing that might be a problem, I was checking the connections on all my injectors and COP's and noticed that everytime my hand touched the PVC valve hose, the engine would idle up a little, now i have checked the back elbow to see if it was cracked and causing an air leak, but all was good there. When i moved the hose a little the engine would do the same, so i took the entire hose off and looked at it, the front elbow ( the one that connects to the PVC valve) was almost completely shut with melted rubber, so i cleaned it real good and put it back on ( it will get me by till i get to the dealer) and with a small test drive, the truck feels like it has a little more power. I will find out for sure tomorrow when i take it for a longer drive and pull some hills with it.

Also i removed the back 2 cats today and that made a difference in the way the truck feels, but i find it a little loud with flowmaster 40's, any suggestions on how to tone it down just a little, where my wife wont complain about riding in it?

Buy her another car:D
Just name the price, like $1000, what it will costs to tone it down.

Seriously, I think the only way to tone it down is to put some kind of a silencer in it or go stock again with the cats out.
