Any help would be great, My sister has a 99 EB expy and it what appears to be a coolant leak behind the drivers rear wheel, just little drips. Google search says this was an issue with our gen expys, I guess I dont understand why there is coolant in the rear except for maybe the rear A/C, is this anything to be concerned about, she only plans to have this rig another 6 months max.

Thanks
Scott

its the a/c ive seen it drip before on me when i pump for gas. im like why is gas dripping so i smell it and taste a little and its just water. from what i can taste. no i pull out a straw and start sipping. i put a little on my lip. was taught that by an old teacher. you can see if its anti freeze, water, or any other liquid. even gas, but that you can usually smell right away.

are you using you rear a/c if so it is most likly just condinsation from the evap core...

if it has any color to it

Neon green is an a/c leak and a faint yellow or green is coolant

mine drips from the rear all the time, and its water.... my dads expy however leaks neon green ac fluid out the back when he turns on rear air, i mean a lot of coolant (puddles in the driveway)

sounds like you may be due for an orifice tube on the a/c system

don't forget that the a/c runs in A/C of course and any setting with defrost so you may see when running your heater as well...

as for your dad's expy it is most likly the evap core is leaking or the o-rings to it

coolant = green (or brownish if it is old) smells like fish
trans = red
oil = brown
water = well it looks like water. My 2nd gen drips from the rear passenger when I use the rear ac.
