the 1st gen expedition and f150 of the same model are 100% the same from the firewall forward. heading backwards there are differences. the dash is the same but the doors are different. in the expedition the doors are smaller. and then you know the rest. truck vs suv. the rear suspension is the main difference. leafs on the 150 and link coil on the ex. the funk masterflex edition came from the factory looking like that. it was a limited edition and ive only seen one and it was in the parking lot of the zoo. it really isnt that nice. just a paint job and some added stuff like navi and better stereo.

ha me neither. i never understood buying a 2wd vehicle in the first place.

well theres the extra room if you have a few kids or your family is growing...ALSO when traveling it provides more cargo space...AND there are people that dont want a van...

That's the first things I look at when buying trucks. " How can I lift it, and how can I make it louder.":reddevil:

well there's some that look at how they can lower/slam it and how many subs it will hold so they can hit db's at competitions...AND whats the biggest rims/tire combo they can fit

Just my personal preferences, but I also chose neither of them. The slammed look with big 22's just isn't my cup of tea. I like the rugged look of my 2002 and have told friends that if I ever get the urge to slap some 22's or 24's on my truck to shoot me before I get to that point.

Couldn't agree more. Everyone in this great nation has the right to do what they want to enhance the look of their vehicles. While I choose brush guards and rugged looking equipment, others choose big wheels, custom paint. It's all good!!! Best part of it all - EXPEDITIONS!!!!

#1) dont like how they did the 2 tone, somethings blacked out some things chromed out its kind of all over the place

#2) (winner) i love the 3d carbon body kit just not the random "hey lets make this chrome" side panels, and all black wheels would be sweet

#3) cervini f-150 front bumper and modded navi rear bumper (i asked him like 2 years ago on cardomain) i would have done black headlights and painted running boards, and bigger rims or different 20's

#4) like the navi chrome window sill trim, never liked those style rims im more of a "6+ spoke rim" type of guy not modded enough to have a vote from me

#5) side skirts and cladding seem to work against each other, and i never lilked the lightning style bumper on the gen 2 expys, looks good slammed

Those aren't my style, that is for sure. While the Expe isn't the best off road vehicle, mine does spend some time off road.

Here is my new toy. Never even heard of cooled seats, should be interesting trying that out this summer.

We had cooled seats on my wife's 04 Expy - they are amazing (at least they were in the GA heat)... that would be fun "one day" project in my '99.

IMO, the 1st Xpy would've looked even better if they left the chrome accents off. Keep everything in the burnt orange zone same color - mirror backsides, etc. Same for all parts in the black zone - blackout the door handles, and tailgate chrome pieces. Maybe even paint the lips burnt orange on rims? But #3 is running very close!
