just bought my 08' xlt for $22k, had 35000miles on the clock, nearly full dealership history and was an ex avis chauffeur car, only done about 6k were it wasn't maintained at ford but got receipts showing it had been serviced with genuine ford parts.
pretty good condition as well, nearly perfect interior, a few light scratches on the outside which had been covered with touch up pens, front right headlight is sunburst so need a new housing.
but all in all very happy with the purchase.

Just traded in my 2007 XLT with 88,000 for a 2012 upgraded XLT. The 2012 had 15,000 miles and is CPO. It was listed at $35k, but I paid $25k total with taxes, transfer and trade.
It rides so much better than 2007. I was due for tires, battery, windshield blades and rear window arms! Also, the rear passenger back door would have to be manually unlocked and the tailgate paint was bubbling like crazy. It was time!

2001 expo...with super low miles

I got my xlt from an old guy that was retired from fords... its a 2001 bone stock awd expo... black with grey trim.. leather and tape deck with cd changer... it had 26345 miles on it the day I picked up... I paid $7000 for it.. I change radio and wheels alarm and window tint..its sitting on 22" black forte rims now... jvc dvd 7" screen with a 1o" sub in the rear...oh and a steel cowl hood... I would post a pic but not sure how to

2001 XLT 4x4 with 157,000 miles. I paid $5,300 at a used car lot. I love this thing it has plenty of room for my family and a ton of power. Gets about the same gas mileage my 2001 Dodge grand caravan got (around 18 MPG highway, 14 city). not bad for a V8.

Toms89 your truck is a monster. I never imagined an SUV going that fast down the strip. I used go to the drag races back home all the time growing up, my family is pretty big into drag racing and I've never seen an SUV on the track ever that I can think of. I think thats awesome that you built yours to run like that.

I payed 8400 swiss francs for my 1997 eddie bauer 4wd 5,4. 106'000 miles.
Thats twice the price of the cheapes comparable grand cherokee. But the grand cherokee is unibody and way to small.

Tows great, ride super smooth. Interior space is a dream as well as outside visibility.
Impressed by the in board fuel econommy figure of 20,0 average on winter tyres. Very defensive drivestyle, cruise control set to 57mph.
I wounder what the summer tires will do next week, and the figures for towing fuel economy.

Well when I bought mine a cream puff with 170 K for $1900. It was owned by a Girl , I will admit that it was Found On Road Dead and backwards ? yes it was Driver Returned On Foot , ( Yes I was teased , lol ) after a trans replacement by me ( That was fun ) looks like that was the only part of the vehicle that she missed , I love it , I get so many compliments on it , cost me $650 for a grade A used trans and No I didn't need to cut a hole in the floor board to get everything out ! and in ! Nobody wants them because of the fuel mileage ? I got NICE ! I am being Fuelish , oh well .

1998 XLT 4x4 bench front seat. Extremely clean inside. Interior looks almost new. Few minor rust spots on the underside and starting on the rear fenders. Passenger door had a dent. Runs like a top with 115000 on her when I got it. Talked the used car guy down to 2600 plus 500 bucks for my 2000 focus that was on its last leg.
I've got probably 200 into it in tune up parts, belt and tensioner and front brakes, 130 for the rear track bar that was rusted bad and 200 for a matching passenger door because the dent annoyed me. Already had new upper and low rear trailing arms, newish gates heater hoses, and new rear brakes. Going to swap out the diff cover as its rough, redo the suspension, all bushings, joints, sway bar links tie rod ends ext and shocks and I have two gallons of rust converter waiting for when the weather gets nicer to prevent that from getting any worse. Also needs external oil filter hoses as there's a tiny leak and a transfer case shift motor as it only goes as far as a4wd. All in all I'm very happy with it for the price I paid.
