2012 New List $49,945 Paid $39,500 plus a 7/100 ESP $0.00 Ded. (for about $1500.00) XLT Premium fully loaded with Nav(HDD, HD Radio, Sat, Photo and MP3), Pwr Boards, Roof, HD Tow, Pwr Tailgate, Pwr 3rd Row, Chrome wheels, Pwr rear windows. Dealer gave 1st year oil changes for free, Lifetime nitro tire fill (needed in FL). Echted glass for ins. savings, Wheel and tire warranty included and a big fat payment book to boot! Ford sent $500.00 rebate a couple weeks later that was left out of deal. Only options that were left out I think was 4X4, power fold mirrors, KR interior, interior night lighting and remote start.

I bought my '99 XLT for $2,500 in June of 2012. It has the 4.6L engine, leather seats, third row, and 6 CD changer. When I bought it, it had new tires, the SEL was on, and it had apparently been in some kind of minor accident; some repair work had been done on the left rear fender. It also had several other minor issues, but overall, it has been a great vehicle, and I think I got a good deal.

August 17, 2013- 2005 Eddie Bauer, Black with Tan interior. 165k miles...

Has all the standard EB equipment, plus (according to the original window sticker) 3.73 limited slip rear axle, power moonroof, reverse sensor system, safety canopy airbags, navigation stereo, power fold 3rd row, heated/cooled front seats, and rear DVD system. Oh, and a front license plate bracket! And it was SO much nicer than similar ones at the rif-raf car lots with higher price tags and mileage!

The total MSRP was $49,775.00. The seller was asking $7400....marked down from 10,500 after two weeks of no calls. I offered $7000 and she accepted.

Then I spent $590 for tires after a $245 price match discount, but that's another post.

Cheers!
Jeff

Just bought a 2013 Expedition EL Limited with 301A package, MSRP $57520, paid $47606. How'd I do? I now need to sell my excellent 2006 Expedition EB 4x4 , DVD and sunroof with 156K. I am asking $9250. How long will it take to sell on Craigslist? Is the price right for a quick sale? I live in a large metro area.

2003 Lincoln Navigator $2500
needed complete rear brakes, tires, left tie rods, windshield and a wheel bearing. Seems to have everything but factory Nav. Little exterior TLC needed but inside is in great shape.

I sold my 2006 EB 4x4 with DVD, 156k, in very good condition for $8000 on Craigslist in three days. I probably could have gotten $8500 if I was willing to wait, but I went for the quick cash.

03 expedition ssv. Guy replaced the engine and put new pistons and rings in and didn't secure one of the connecting rods. Picked it up for $2500. Has 117k on her. New bolts and oil change cost around $40. It was a pain to pull the pan though.

2005 Eddie Bauer equipped as noted below $8900 119,600 miles when I bought it. It's awesome - the only thing I wish I had done was gotten an extended version. Maybe next time.

PS I added the 20" King Ranch wheels.

1999 xlt $800 from a repo auction. Had a new ford certified motor in it that the install wasn't quit finished on and was very slap dash. Everyone thought it had blown out a plug ,but I got it home threaded a new plug in and it has been great ever since.I have had it a year and love it.Although I am still finding and fixing red neck repairs from one of it's two previous owners.

97 XLT 2WD with 274,900 for $400. what was wrong with it?

intake gasket, metal pipe corroded in a couple spots. heater core quick connects all trashed. needs tires and some front end work. no a compressor and hoses from the comp to the dryer and condenser are gone. tax time is going to remedy that before summer gets here.

the good: new rear air springs, new front rotors/pads turned rear rotors new pads. new front hubs and bearings, new alt, water pump and thermostat
