2003 Eddie Bauer. 135K, one owner, lots of records, overall great condition. New brakes & battery within last 30 days.

Known issues;
rear blend door acuator
one small bubble in paint above the rear license plate.
Occasionally spastic drivers side mirror when in reverse.
(all are mentioned here on the forum, so no surprises)

Best options;
moonroof
factory coil springs (no air ride woes later)

paid $6200 and very pleased. Wife and I are totally hooked on Expys now. :biggrin:

2000 Pedition, 4wd, Eddie Bauer. 132k miles. Huge record of repairs by the only owner until me, which was all done by a Ford dealer leaving me with nothing to worry about except the rear brakes, rear wiper blade and rear defrost. Paid $4000.00. Only use it when I have to haul something or when we drive to/on the beach.

Got my first expy! 1998 XLT 4x4, 5.4L tow package, leather yada yada. Got it for $500 cash plus $54 PCV valve and tubes (fixed the rough idle issue in the sellers driveway right after he agreed to sell it for 500, he was a little upset!). Since getting it home have put about another 500 in it giving it some TLC with new fluids, COP's, belt, ect. If I get a few of the other little bugs worked out, I will probably be rebuilding the bottom end of this thing from hub to hub in hopes of many more trouble free miles. She currently has 260K on the clock and neither the engine or transmission have been torn into.

Paid 2k for my 98 EB 5.4 with somewhere around 185k on the clock (odometer quit after me driving it 61 miles) a couple weeks ago. Since have another $2200 in tires, windshield, tag/emissions, egr stuff (all new everything), one wheel (the PO had 3 17" and 1 16" ???), radio, and various and sundry other stuff. I figure at 56 cents per mile @ bewteen 14 and 17 mpg (got that yesterday over 325 miles) for work, then minus gas, it ought to pay for itself in another 13,000 miles or so. Then it can be lifted, new hood and bumpers, and start paying for my other hobbies (assuming no other major work).

98 EB had 270000 on her when got her. $1.00. My father in law was gonna junk it because his rich ass lost the key and didn't wanna pay $150 for a new one. My best friend is a lock smith. Hooked me up.

Just got on Nov 20, 2014 an 04 Expedition EB.
I think I got a good deal I paid 5700.00 US and had to put on 4 new tires.
Current Mileage : 118657

Other then the current ABS/ADVTrac issue (needs to be calibrated and I dont know why) Tested all sensors and all are good so hope thats all it needs. The headunit only playing out of drivers side speakers (cant find AMP if it even has one)
I like the truck. its big and has good acceleration for a 5.4.

Time will tell if I got a turd or a diamond for the money spent.

I just replaced my 99 Exp w/232K(rusted frame) with an 03 Expy EB with everything but the kitchen sink, 140K for $5,300. The drivers seat heater not working and remote mirrors work sometimes, not others<?> but overall, nice truck.
