Wheel controls dont lightup anymore

Hi just got a problem in my 2003 Expi 4x4 EB now the steering wheels control dont lightup, if i turn the wheel all the way to the right they turn on again but sometimes when return to the normal position turn off again any ideas how to address this issue, i also have the airbag light on before this issue dont know if is a clockspring issue hope not! Any advice or experiense to share going to be apreciate. Tx.

I would expect the clock spring but would check for voltage into it before condemning it.

Theres a thread or link that ican use to guide me in the this procedure, i mean how to check the voltage on the clockspring.

I haven't looked for a video, don't know if any exist but try Eric the car guy on youtube. Best to have the wiring diagrams, use a good meter and be safe around the airbag.
