Is the highlighted dot the factory alignment position for the blades? Might be easier to use that as opposed to measuring.

Ya know that just might be the right alignment. I couldn't find a passenger side arm when I replaced my front wiper arms a few years back to get new springs so I went with 2 driver side arms. Mine is 1-3/4" below that dot and 3/8" above the cowl. The good news is if it doesn't hit the cowl and you like where it ends up at the top of the swing arc you should be fine. If you get it wrong. Out a piece of masking tape on the windshield and draw a line on it where you'd like it lined up. Then take it loose and realign it with your mark.
