What do most of you run? I had to cut my stock off cause of a hole in it, but it sounds like drag car now, I need a good flange bolt on system, or is it cheaper to have a muffler shop put one in??

I've only had mine since August, as far as I know it is stock, but I have this irrational desire to put a louder muffler on so it sounds more truck like.

does the flowmaster sound nice on the 5.4l?

Well I just had the local shop weld in a 40 series,
So far, I'm leaning towards 50-series Flowmasters.

I have a 50 series and I hate it. It's barely anything more than stock. IMO, a complete waste of money.

I'm lookin' to be able to hear shorty when she uses that velvet voice enticing me to pull into Dairy Queen for an ice cream.

I have a glasspack that ends before the rear axle and it is still not that loud (for me) due to the 4 cat setup in these trucks. Personally I did not hear big enough of a difference in that video stock to 50 seriess to make it worth spending money. I would go with the 40 series.

Guess I'm after performance more than noise, gotta agree with ya that watching the vid a few more times does show both the 40 and 50 are rather tame. Good "sound" instead of "noise" but makes me leans towards the Dynomax mentioned earlier.
I'm a big opponent of "noise", we get way too much of it from the bubbas and their rusted-out Flows here in SE Texas at the Friday night parking lot gatherings. They'll stand in it and try and out-rapp each other...sounds horrible, almost as bad as the ricers with their pootpipes
ooh, found some vids with Dynomax installed...yummy!
