I'm prepping to do an entire brake job and looking for opinions on the powerstop brand. I already ordered them through rockauto but if the reviews are bad I'll just send them back. Thoughts?

Yes. That must be it *******.Then you weren't driving it right
Just let it go! I'm famous for getting into ******* matches(usually over lighting) and it just not worth the time.Yes. That must be it *******.
That’s exactly what it is. If you were pushing it then you should have experienced brake fade at some point. I have Brembo 6 piston calipers with R1 Concept rotors and HPS pads (no offense but it’s a much more robust setup then what’s on your GT) and experience some sort of fade at some point out on the track nearly every track day I go to. It’s a natural part of track driving. Next time you go to VIR try to brake a little later and a lot harder and see if they don’t start to fade a little bit. Oh and your lap times should come down a bit toYes. That must be it *******.

I put on Brakeperformance.com slotted and dimpled several years back and they've lasted much longer than previous...on an 08 EL, about 12-15K per yearI'm prepping to do an entire brake job and looking for opinions on the powerstop brand. Very true. But they were cheaper than my factory rotors at the time and still worked great. If your modern pads a outgassing that fast, something has gone dreadfully wrong.Slots and holes in rotors are mostly a gimmick. A good set of pads, with a good set of solid rotors will work just fine. Any notion that holes and slots are going to help stop fade are false. Maybe back in the old days when brake pads would out-gas a lot at high temps, but modern break pads don't do this.
there is not a single hypercar that doesnt have slotted/drilled rotors. literally. Porsche 918, Koenigsegg, McLaren, Ferrari La Ferrari, Lambo, and even high end sports cars like Corvettes, Porsche 911, Lambo Huracan, etc.Very true. Look at race cars. Most do not have holes. They used to. But not any more.
Yeah I got the HD set because there isnt much of a difference in price but the warranty difference is hugeLooks like I can still cancel the purchase on the DD ones. Think I’ll cancel this and switch to the HD ones after looking at the warranty (3,000 miles vs 36,000 miles) that says a lot right there. The only HD set from them is drilled and slotted... should I just bite the bullet and buy MotorCraft HD?
