What he said! Make sure you save your modules before you start making changes!
Read through this entire thread, took awhile but I did. But to save your modules, there's not away for forscan to save all at once is there?

Also I really hoped you'd fiqured out the tps display, before I got to the end of this thread!

Alot of the options people are wanting out of there newer expy's, my 05 Chevy came with stock.

Save all once you have that particular Module open before you edit. That is the best way. Do your edits, and if they don’t work, restore.

Thx that's what I thought. It would be nice if there was a option, to save every module at once into a single backup file.

I haven't seen anything on low fuel warning. Is there a way to change the alert to come on, say at 1/4 tank. That way maybe my wife won't park it on empty! Lol

Haha! Might be, Never looked. My wife has the opposite problem. I don’t think she waits long enough.

I can take a look this weekend.

Need some help. I downloaded forscan software, registered it on my desktop. Now i'm trying to transfer it and use it on a borrowed laptop. And it acts like it isn't registered? Tried reinstalling the key several times. Is the key just good on one pc?

Update, I just finally applied for a new key and it's working now. So my guess the key will only work on one PC, but idk for sure.

This is because you need to present a "hardware ID" from the software. This is a unique instance. It's supposed to prevent fraud or something. However, new keys are free.

Yes, key is per device.

Let me ask this then, can FORScan be installed and ran off of a flash drive?

As long as that Flash drive is always used in the same computer.

I haven’t done any research to figure out what FORScan uses for their hardware key. Most software uses a NIC MAC to create the key.

I tried the turn signal lane change amount of flashes. Originally truck flashed 3 X's. I'm not sure the way the spread sheet reads to adjust this it shows what digit to change, but for say 7 flashes it shows E-F? So I tried just replacing the ? mark with a F. Well this did the lane change to 7 flashes, but when you used the turn signal and it click's back after the turn, the signal would continue to flash! At least until you would use the lane change. So I went back in and change the value from F to A. it now works as should and has 5 flashes for lane change. So I didn't under stand the way it shows two symbols in place of the ? mark. I just used one and was happy once it worked the 2nd time, so where did I go wrong?

Turn Signals - Lane Change Flashes SCCM 724-01-01 xxxx x?xx xx
I tried 724-01-01 xxxx xFxx xx
Then switched to 724-01-01 xxxx xAxx xx
