Nothing is free. If you are not buying CDs or paying a subscription to someone, then you are paying by listening to commercials. Music quality is also an issue unless you are close enough to pick up digital FM. Why pay big money for a sound system, just to listen to hiss and crackle of over the air broadcasts filled with advertisements? JMHO.

That's true, theirs no free lunch. Everything in life has some kind of catch. If you want ultimate fidelity, you need to copy SACD discs, or do the same from top shelf Analog record albums, using expensive moving coil phono cartridges recorded onto CD or equivalent digital form. Any way you look at it, money or sacrifices are involved. I grew up listening to AM radio in the car, so listening to high fidelity audio these days when driving or parked, is a long way from my past. I was just making a comment about member bashing another member because he likes using an older style recorded median. My old cassettes that I recorded 30 years ago still play great, and guess what, they play 20hz to 18khz, the whole audio spectrum.

I apologize if my post came across as bashing the OP. I was simply adding my two cents to the conversation. As for the last line of my post (I assume this is where you feel I was bashing) it was meant to be humorous hence the LOL at the end.
