I am shopping tires too. Sale at Sames today only. Free mounting and $70 off. $205 each
On Michelin LTX M/S2 - P255/70R18 112T
Are these something I would want?
I realize they are Passagner tires, but only tow small aluminum boat. Thanks

Almost twice as much as I paid for the same.

That's no "sale".

Just put on a set of Nokian Rotiva AT's. I was worried that they's be louder and give a rougher ride than the factory Pirelli's. Happy to report that this is NOT THE CASE!!! Bought mine off of Amazon (275/55/20) and had them mounted t a local tire ship ($15 ea.).

Love them!!!!! Great snow performance so far!!!

I am replacing the tires on my 2015 with the 22 inch factory rims. I have about 45K on the factory Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season. I have actually been pleased with the Pirelli's. Living in the NW I do a lot of wet weather driving. I want new tires before Ski season. I am looking at the Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season Plus, Michelin Premier LTX. I tend to buy and have installation for my "road" vehicles at Costco or a discount tire. I want to stay lower profile given the style of the vehicle. If not, I would be buying BFG AT KO2's

Any experience with comparing the two tires I mentioned above?

You should try contacting hankook directly. Our Ford rep told us they have been helping out customers due to all the issues we have been seeing with hankooks(explorers are the worst)

Well, you won’t be sorry about the Michelins. Good tires. Expensive, yes. But good.

EVERY time I need a tire I call the place or places we have a commercial account with and I can sometimes hear it in their voice when I say "Start with the cheapest you got and go up"
I tell them "Hey it's a car lot. If it's round and holds air...for a little while its good enough"
We're not a car lot but oh well.
