A more interesting question is what is the cost savings between a new 2019 and a 2018 that has been sitting on a dealer’s lot for 3-6 months. Given no significant changes between model years does it make sense to consider a 2019 or better to haggle for a 2018?
What options on a limited brought the sticker to 78K18 Limited 4x4 Max. Gave me 47k on my Chevy trade and I offered 71k and they accepted. Sticker was 78k and change.

Hey Pat I will dig out the window sticker tomorrow and post a pic of it. I know it has one of the 30x packages and the heavy duty tow package.
The Tahoes/Suburban/Yukon's will always have much better resale than the Expeditions......Right now I just did a search for used 2018 Expedition Max's, and all are in the mid 40,000......that's a hell of a 1 year depreciation since these are started in the 70,000+ rangeMusta been some Chevy...
I agree, however, the platinums are holding their value much better than the other trims. The only used platinum max for sale in the DFW metroplex has 14k miles, RSE, 4wd but no hd tow. It's listed for $65k, down from an assumed $80k. And $65k is almost exactly what a comparable used 2018 Denali Yukon XL is selling for.The Tahoes/Suburban/Yukon's will always have much better resale than the Expeditions......Right now I just did a search for used 2018 Expedition Max's, and all are in the mid 40,000......that's a hell of a 1 year depreciation since these are started in the 70,000+ range
