I'm looking at adding a small 3/2 lift to my car the question being how much sag is in the suspension right now. Does anyone know at the normal ride height on factory tires would be for this car?

I'm debating if I need to change the shocks and struts out when I add in the lift kit. The car is only 4 years old with like 80,000 miles on it

Bilsteins are inexpensive and high quality. May as well just swap them while you are in there to add the spacers.
Likely will not ever have to do it again.
80k on OEM and you are rolling the dice. I have 80k on my 16 and a rear Shock is already lost all it’s fluid.

You will gain better ride quality, steering, and braking with the Bilsteins so for the cost it is a no brainer.

I feel you're right. But I'm kinda clueless which ones to buy. Also I've seen on the forums about having to modify them for something on our models?

What year do you have? You say 4 years old so I am going to presume a 2015??
No real modification needed you just need to reuse your lower spring perches.
You will use the 4600s from an F150 for the front and the 4600s from the 2014 Expedition for the year.
There are a couple threads on it already.
As long as weather plays nice I’ll be doing mine on Tuesday.

That is a write up for the front. I have been told now that one can also hammer the spring perch off. We’ll find out Tuesday.

Where did you find a good price on them and about much did they run?

I am in a 2015 which is exactly the same of your 2017 model.

You will likely have to wait a few weeks unfortunately as Bilstein shuts down all production of shocks from November to February. So most places are back ordered at the moment while they play catch up with production starting back up in March.
I ordered my rears awhile back from Amazon when most places still had them and got lucky last week that 4wheelparts had one set that someone had ordered and never picked up. Everyone else was backordered.
Rears should run about $80 each and the fronts about $115.
I used the 5100 for the front so I don’t have to run a spacer but am limited to 2” or lift. They are about $30 more than the 4600s.

I'm seeing the Monroe's running about about $75 and $90 is there a large advantage for spending more on the Blistein? I see both love and hates for them.

I did the shake test on the car and the front right definitely is toast the back seem pretty solid

Thanks for all the help!! New struts are on the way with the 3/2 kit also.

The front dives pretty good when braking confirming one or both bad struts.

Do I need to replace the coils on the front as well?
