Expedition is probably a bit softer progressive rate compared to the F-150 to give it a softer ride.

Slap away they will work just fine. One member on here has them and is happy with them.
Another member has Boss Halos and is happy with them.

I have Fox 2.0s to put on if it would quit raining on my days off.

Thanks Black!

Are you going to be using the Fox 2.0 for the F150 on front and rear?

Awesome! That's what I was hoping you would say.

Can’t the F-150 has a solid rear axle. Completely different setup. I’ll be keeping my 4600s.

Only rear coil over replacement option currently is ICON.

Just to be clear my f150 4wd fronts are on the bottom ring.. you could go second ring but it was deff to high for what I wanted and the spring was too close to the a-arm for comfort.

I think 16plati is right on the 4600s.. there isn't another shock that will fit the rear of the Expy that I know of. Could maybe have someone make a shim/spacer that would go in between frame and top plate of the shock mount

To be clear, 95cobby, what is the part number for the struts you put on the rear of your expedition? I am a little confused when 16 keeps on bringing up things for a 16. Thank you for the clarification

I believe he used the part numbers below (these are what I bought to do the same thing, but haven't installed yet);

Rear: 24-285063
Front: 24-248129

Thanks man. Yea I know that and ended up starting with the middle ring which was close to 1.5" taller than the Readylift. Stock setting matched great for the 4wd version. I have the 2wd shocks in the garage in case the rear came out lower than the RL kit as I didn't want any reverse rake.. but it worked out great.

The 2wd F150 shocks are about an inch shorter so close to the top setting may have worked..

F150 4wd Bilstein B8 5100 24-248129
Collapsed Length (IN) - 16.91
Extended Length (IN) - 22.46

F150 2wd Bilstein B8 5100 24-253222
Collapsed Length (IN) - 16.05
Extended Length (IN) - 21.40

Expedition Bilstein B8 5100 24-285056
Collapsed Length (IN) -16.10
Extended Length (IN) - 20.95

Finally wrapped up the Bilstein 5100 install this weekend.. just need to take it to get aligned now. I originally installed the Readylift 3/2 kit and then realized the front factory shocks were leaking. I ended up coming across the Bilsteins that they just came out with for the Expedition and after some research ended up buying the rears for the Expedition and the fronts for a 4wd F150. The front and rears for the Expedition state only about a 1.6” lift and I guessed that the front needed more to come close to what the Readylift kit is. After 3 adjustments on the F150 4wd shocks I ended up on the bottom ring which is stock setting and likely could have just used the 2wd shocks. I’ve only driven it a little bit as I want to get it align before letting my wife put any real miles on it but the Bilstein shocks have made a huge difference in stability and braking. Definitely happy I went this route instead of wasting time at the dealership. The height to fender ended out coming to the same measurements as the Readylift, just now it has more suspension travel. Anyways the only part that matters.. the pictures...

I have a 2019 FX4 Max with the Ready Lift 1.5 leveling kit and stock rear. The rear sets lower than I would like, and when loaded this is worse. It actually sits pretty level, but the fender gap between the front and rear makes it look like the rear is lower.

I have read through this thread a few times and get that the 4WD F-150 5100 at lowest setting gives 3 inches of lift. I would like to stick to 1.5 to 2 inches in the front and get 1.5 inches in the rear. So the 5100s in the rear would take care of that but Expo fronts only give 1 inch correct? Are there any speculations on what one could get from the 2WD F-150 5100? Could 1.5 to 2 inches be achieved with this shock?

I have also already had all four factory shock replaced under warranty at 5k miles and am now at 7k. The fronts were completely blown and the rears were leaking.

It's been a few months and most of us have been at home during the quarantine, any news on the installation? I bought the ReadyLift spacer kit after buying the Expy last July but never installed it. I had the 5100s on my Tundra and really liked them so probably going to never install the ReadyLift kit that sits in the box in the garage, but I really want to see if I should order the F150 5100's or the Expy 5100's.

I’ve got Readylift 3/2 on my expedition with 35s. Ride is a lot more stiff, not a good upgrade if your a heavy off roader, more for looks and to fit 35s IMO

I'm running the 4WD F-150 5100 front's on the lowest stock setting and Expy rears on the highest setting. I was running the RL 3/2 before, and I'd say the stance is pretty close. The ride is a vast improvement over the RL w/ stock struts/shocks. Also replaced the stock UCA's with the ICON tubular Deltajoint UCA's that come with the full Expy ICON coilover lift kit.

Awesome. Where did you find the icon UCA’s?

Does it measure out as level? What made you change the UCAs too?
