The background: I have committed the weekend to finding and fixing a water leak in the rear roof area by the 3rd row passenger seat window. https://www.expeditionforum.com/threads/third-row-window-water-leak.45320/ As I come across other things, I thought I'd seek advice on best options for tackling them too.

The question: I noticed that the rear liftgate hinges are a little squeaky and have several products in my garage that could work (WD40, 3-in-1 oil, Blaster dry lube with Teflon, Super Lube, B'laster Garage Door Lubricant, etc).

What's best to use for this application?

Thanks!

I use the Super Lube spray with excellent results. I use a paper towel to blot up any excess when I spray the liftgate hinges.

I have a tube of Super Lube I use on the metal joints and hinges on my ‘63 Lincoln Continental convertible top mechanism, but don’t have the spray. I’ll have to add that to my list of stuff to buy next.
