I'm not saying that Ford is the best at updating their Build and Price site, but I was on there yesterday and it still showed the RES as "Late Availability".
I called and just got it added onto my order, for whatever it's worth. Original order was on 2-24, still no production date or anything.

Kids will be happy now, well whenever we actually get the thing!

Mine was ordered 1/24, just got assigned a "projected build date" of May 16th, so you might have another week or two before yours gets scheduled.

We decided against it simply bc a pair of iPads are $700-$1000 and the truck has WiFi that can be enabled. Our minivan had the overhead DVD player and it aged really quick.

This I couldn't agree with more. We have the RSE in our '20 and it's dated. Kids were into it for a week then dropped it.
I ordered our '22 without and don't plan to add.

Yeah I can't even figure the thing out in our '18, but the kids for some reason love the thing when we drive back to my parents. What's another $2k anyways!!

I have an '18 with RES. It has some troubles early on and ended getting both screens replaced. Definitely dated, and not a great interface, BUT my kids love it too! They plug in the Firestick and watch YouTube, Netflix, Disney, whatever....There is something different when they are watching a show together at the same time, vs each have ipads.

Seems like you just jumped ahead of me. Mine still says offsite waiting for chips. Was your status ever that? Or did you go right from in Production to Built?
I never called so I don’t know if I was ever waiting for a chip. I went into production 3/15, the ”built bubble” on the webpage first showed a date on 3/25 and now built 3/30.

I just received the official email from Lincoln. Estimated date at dealership April 5-11. It could be here as early as next week! Well, I‘ll believe it when I see it.
