Just got my build email! Scheduled for the week of August 8th. Window sticker is not ready but they let you see the order details. The only thing at this point I see missing is the hands free lift gate removal. Under the accessories tab there is a bunch entries that say sun & style discount and ultimate trip discount. Does anyone know what that means?

Just got scheduled for 8/29!!! Now I’m finally into the next waiting room lol.
I just got my e-mail that I'm scheduled for 8/29 as well! Hoping it doesn't get pushed back any, but I feel lucky since I ordered 4/19 so I got scheduled sooner than I expected to be.

2022 Limited 4x4 with 303A stealth package, HD towing and engine block heater. X-plan pricing

ordered 3/10/2022. confirmed 3/11. received scheduled for production update notice 6/30. scheduled for build week of 8/8.

anyone on here that can give an estimate of from their given build date, how long it took to build and ship? with a 8/8 build week is it realistic to see it arrive by end of AUGUST from KY to Chesapeake VA?

Alex

P.S.
anyone know what this means?
"Hands-Free, Foot-Activated Feature Removal"

its listed in details of my order when I check VIN online under accessories.

I was wondering the same. I ordered a Limited MAX 304A Stealth Performance Package, and my order details look exactly like yours! Just got my build date of 8/29 so I'm excited!

It means they removed and you will not be getting the hands free rear lift gate option. (Where you wave your foot under the back bumper and the back hatch will open).

I absolutely do not understand how ford schedules the production for these SUVs. I ordered a Limited max 303A, 4x4, HD tow, and 15in screen on 1/25 and I have not heard a thing since my order confirmation email that day. No build date, no update, nothing. My dealer has even said there’s no updates yet because it hasn’t been picked up by ford to be in production.

I have seen a bunch of people get their schedule for production emails today….

What am I missing? Why are people that ordered in march-April-may getting their SUVs produced/delivered now, but I don’t even have a build date yet?

I see. wonder if that will be a dealer back-fit install later? or is it removed option due to the tow package?

It is not removed due to the Tow Package. I have it on my Timberline w/ HD Tow. I have not seen a clear list of what features will be able to be dealer installed at a later date and which ones are gone forever.

I think the 2nd row controls can be added, but the massage seats and Active Park Assist cannot. I am not sure about the rear lift gate.

hopefully they let us know of what is gone gone and what is gone for now but a dealer add down the road as well as adjusting the price. so far on my order page, the only removal listed is that hands free lift. no mention of 2nd row controls. hopefully once actaul sticker is produced it will show that just the one removal. just glad to finally get build week assigned,

Oh. That. Your dealership sucks. They should have been fighting for priority about a month in. Ask them what priority your build is. If it's not '02' by this time, you need to chew some butts. About a month in, my dealer started fighting for me. Moved me up to priority '02'. I'm about to be built. I ordered 2/15.

I'm not sure the priority codes mean anything. Mine was ordered at 19 and has stayed there the whole time as far as I know. I just got the built email on 6/24.

Priority codes mean nothing these days, my priority code 19 2022 was built before quite a few priority code 2 2022 Expeditions in May, I highly suspect that it's a matter of commodity food-chain that causes one Expedition to be built before another. If they do not have all of the parts in house, the trucks are no longer being scheduled on the line, to wait in a holding area (Ford has over 50,000 such vehicles in holding areas across the country right now, as reported by Ford Corp) for those missing items to be delivered. 100,000 sub assemblies and assembly pieces go in to making an Expedition, if one major item is missing, that truck is getting bumped further down the line, no matter if it is a priority 2 or a priority 19....Yes, it really is that simple these days.

You can call and complain, threaten to pull your order and deposit, but until the supply chain woes get better, it will not make a bit of difference.

Just as I was losing hope. I was holding out on the removal of features. Then Reluctantly, I accepted the deletion of massaging seats, because I heard that the single supplier of these was no longer in business. Not sure if the source of that information is legit, but Multi-Contour seats have been removed on Expedition, Explorer, F150, and Super Duty...with no further availability. The Stop/Start is also removed from the build, and I couldn't be happier, because I'm always hitting the stop/start override button every time I start my current 2018 Platinum. Throughout the process, I refused to agree to delete the rear climate controls/rear heated seat controls, signature lighting delete, active park assist 2.0, and 3rd row recline feature.
I swapped emails with the General Manager of my dealer, and he confirmed that ONLY the Multicontour seats and the auto stop/start are the only thing not on the build. Throughout the process, he assured me that once there was availability of parts, the vehicle would be scheduled. I was losing hope until today. Hopefully, I will be a happier camper in August when the vehicle is built!!

Just got an update from Ford moving my build date from June 18th to June 6th.

Order date: Jan 28
Notified of Delays: mid March
Initial Build Date of 6/18: April 29

Limited 4x4 w Tow
15 inch screen
Sandstone Interior
8 seater w Sunroof
CCD & eLSD

We’ll see. I feel for those waiting. I placed an order for an F150 platinum powerboost on Aug 24th and still haven’t been scheduled.
Mine ended up being built the week of June 6th, and then shipped on June 12. I had a delivery date estimate of July 5 - 11 when it shipped, and had been getting regular email updates from Ford through the tracker by email.

The dealer called me and said it arrived on Tuesday (June 28th) with no email/notification from Ford, but I see it is now in final prep according to Ford's tracker.

Two days after mine was delivered last week, the Ford tracker still showed it in Shipped status.......Sad, but true.

I am in Virginia and mine was built May 10 and is still sitting in KY going on almost 2 months and they just keep moving the date further away to "ensure my total satisfaction". How about to ensure my satisfaction you send me my friggin car Ford! Geez this is ricidiculous
