is the average about 1 month for delivery to the dealer from build date?

Also, is it possible to request to *not* have the front bumper drilled out for the license plate holder?

IT'S FINALLY HERE , well almost..
Ordered Blk 4*4 Reg 303A , CCD, bench, 15 in screen in November of 2021 with Dealer. Confirmed on 1/31/22 ( which I think means he didn't put order in right away)
Ford emails:
1/31/22 Order confirmed
3/18/22 unforseen delays
4/28/22 scheduled build for 6/20.
7/1/22 @ 7:10pm unforseen delays will not be built 6/20
7/2/22 @ 3:40am built and in transit ETA 7/17-7/23/22.
Arrived in NY dealer today, hopefully will get it in NJ tomorrow evening if not Friday morning.
I used the order tracker app and called the dealer to say it shows as delivered. He said he got so many cars/ trucks in today he didn't even have a chance to call me before I got to him. I really hope this truck was worth the wait....
I was thinking of trying to use the Ford pass app to track it. But I figured my luck it'll remote start and burn the whole car carrier up....

After 9 months of waiting, I received an email this morning that my SPP has been shipped and will allegedly arrive within the next 2 weeks. All in all, this has been a pretty terrible process. When I ordered this vehicle in Nov of '21, I was told I would take possession in early January or February of '22. I relied on that representation only to learn that I was being naive. I spent the last several months scouring this forum and saw that my confounding experience was not an aberration. I'm a loyal Ford customer, but 9 months of seemingly arbitrary delays and unexplained changes of production and delivery dates incensed me. With that said, I believe in Ford products and I hope my SPP will be worth the wait. For those of you patiently waiting, I hope your experience is better than mine.

I have had the same EXP. Ordered 11-2-21, still waiting, Ford says shipped today and should have it by the 22nd to 28th of this month, we will see.

Finally got our Limited delivered. Ordered back in October. A little overwhelmed with the 15” screen and how it operates. One thing is the rear A/C blows but does not get cold. Could this be one of the chip deletes? The air blows, just doesn’t cool.

Definitely would take it back to the dealer for that. Not a chip delete.

After 9 months from submitting my order on 11/15 my Max Stealth Performance arrived at the dealer yesterday and I picked it up this morning. It was a long, frustrating wait but it’s everything I was hoping it would be. I still can’t believe it’s finally here!

It has Sync 4a with the large screen and digital gauges, HD tow, Sport CCD, eLSD, 4x4, Stone Blue.

Very nice spec!

My delivery took about 2 weeks, though it sounds like some are taking longer. I pick mine up this morning!!

I asked my salesperson to make sure the front bumper wasn’t drilled. He told prep tech not to drill and marked on window as well. Haven’t heard if all is ok, but will know shortly!!

Mine blows cold in the rear. So think there is another issue. Now in extreme warm weather it takes a minute or two for it to get cold due to the roof being extremely warm.

Received mine last week. And i did not tell them anything but the Front bumper was not drilled and no license plate holder. I live in Indiana where we do not have a front license plate requirement. Not sure if that matters or not.

Damn, that looks so much better without. $200 fine here in Texas, so instead I'm going to [pay even more and] get a custom plate in a color matching the car.

It came.... I'm happy. I hope everyone can get their Expy soon. I had a 2010...and I drove my sister's 2018 a couple of times. This one, is nice. I do wonder how a v8 would be.

RE: V8, I was wondering the same thing. I have a 2003 and I love the power that V8 has. Was wondering if that V8 would slip into the 22 Expy engine compartment and mate up with the 22 trans...

My Stealth Performance has 440 hp and 510 tq. Even if your 2003 had the 5.4 it’s only putting out 260 hp. Wiring a V8 would be a very expensive custom job

The only thing a V8 will get you is a better exhaust note. Unless you are planning to put turbos onto the V8 too.
