2022 Expedition - Schedule for production ?

After reading all the stories of shipping delay after shipping delay, I have been trying to be patient but I held my breath called Ford Marketing for a transit update, as of today sitting at ramp in Orlando of which my dealership is in one of the Orlando suburb towns. They are still giving me a delivery date of 8/31-9/4 to be at the dealer. This has turned into a real nail biter now. Going to be anxiously awaiting notification from my dealer...

According to CSX our Platinum has gone from a transfer yard in the middle of Atlanta, about 10 miles from our dealer, up to Tennessee with an eventual goal of Lawrenceville. So far the date to Lawrenceville has been delayed 2 days. Trains are frustrating!

i just talked to Ford on my 5/29 build complete that was supposed to be delivered 8/24 to 8/31. Rail delays no idea of when it will be delivered. This becoming rather frustrating. I have been looking for an in stock that meets my specs, no luck so far.

Did it ship yet or still waiting on a rail car to be assigned? You can ask ford marketing for your rail car number and then track it yourself through csx.

after 2 weeks week of pinging every ford dealer within 200 miles for limited and limited max's with 303A stealth and HD tow in a darker color I could live with, I found a limited max stealth (dk matter gray) 4x4 2.5 hours from home and went and got it. I wasn't looking or really wanting to pay the extra for a MAX, but at least this once is sitting in my driveway and the only REMOVAL was auto stop/start which I always disable anyways. all the environmental controls front to back and the hands free lift gate REMOVED from my order are still intact on this one and like I said its in my driveway and not parked in KY speedway for who knows how many more months on chip hold/shipping delay. So if you are in Hampton Roads area in VA, a Stone Blue Limited Stealth 4x4 with HD tow and engine block heat will be at priority ford norfolk someday this year (maybe) that you can snag.

May the odds be ever in your favor. I ordered 3/10 and told in June it was scheduled for production 8/8, that slipped to 8/22 (BCE modules even populated 8/22) and was moved to a "sent offsite" status on 8/24 meaning its mostly built but now at the speedway on chip/part hold until unknown date. your build date has to align perfectly with actually having all parts it seems or they just force it thru as incomplete and put it in hold and it seems incoming parts goto the line before they goto the backlog of chip/part hold cars. I gave up and started inquiring to every dealer within 200 miles and found one mostly like what I ordered. I went from a 4x4 limited stealth in stone blue sitting in Kentucky waiting to finish and ship to a 4x4 limited MAX stealth in dark matter gray sitting in my driveway this last weekend. I also gained some features not on my order and also only 1 removal compared to 2 on my order. XP's are out there in rare quantities, just have to hunt and be willing to travel. I drove 5 hours round trip to go get ours but its done and we love it

I was scheduled for the week of 8/15, was moved to 8/22. Got the window sticker and the “In production” box checked. Nothing since then. Not modules, no in production date listed or emails from Ford. Not sure what is going on :-(

Excited, just checked and lots of modules populated! I’m guessing that means it is actually on the line being built. Still no date under the in production tab on the ford site. How long does it usually take from module population to built status?
