Are these correct? It’s the part number that matches, but the seat seems much smaller than stock.

Another thread on this subject. I don’t think those are correct for alloy wheels. For steel I’m sure they would work. Not enough surface area to be safe for alloy compared to stock. Just my opinion

For sure not the right ones. There is a part from Gorilla that has the wide seat like the lug in the right (believe they call it the 45 degree or wide cone) which is what you need. The smaller cone will dig into the rim.

Unless you're really going for the spline, these are what I got a few months back to replace my swollen nuts. I originally bought a set from somewhere that had a smaller surface area like the ones pictured above and after doing a test install it was a definitely no-go with the lack of surface area. The thread type for reference is M14x1.5.

Gorilla Wheel Locks 96641BDX. Double check these. I think they are the ones I got for mine but don't have the package anymore. I'll see if it's on the lock code card when I get home.​

Ended up with these from Amazon. They are exactly the same shape as stock, but one piece in black.

Update, those lug nuts have chipped and rusted a bit. Not entirely happy with them.

Yea, saw your like in my notifications and figured I'd come back in and toss up a long term update in case I could head you off. You are right though, not a lot of good options out there, and I suspect the black ones will probably all do the same. I'll post up a few pictures after I go get it from the shop for the stupid expensive cooler hose replacement it just had to have done.

That suks wallah, I would have expected them to last longer....

When you had your tires removed/replaced, have you been telling the tire techs to NOT use an impact wrench to install them with ? That may have helped them get less scratches/rounding & therefore less rust...

Glad I went with the chrome ones then. I was kinda bummed I didn’t get the black. So far the chrome is holding up.

Haven't had them done professionally yet, though it's due. The "Tire guy" is me that put the nuts on and my tire guy is lazy and has an impact for a reason.

Yes it's disappointing, but not too noticeable unless I get up close like for the photo, and still looks way better than nasty chrome.
