increased to what? My 2019 has a 9200 lb tow capacity.

Yup, that will do it. A couple of friends used that and it raised hell with the balance.Mentioned several times in different threads, on this forum.
If the dealer installed some fix-a-flat goop into the tires, it sometimes causes vibration similar to out of balance at speeds above 65mph. I had the issue with mine, but never knew what was causing it. When I got new tires installed, under a pro-rated warranty claim, they found clumps of the stuff gathered together inside the tires. They blamed that for the out of balance vibration, as it will shift with heat.
I run Michelin Defender 285/45 R22s and they are as smooth as glass at any speed. That combined with my CCD suspension and it's like riding on air.
It may be a longshot for those who are experiencing this problem, but worth asking the dealer.
I was under the impression, perhaps wrongly, that the vibration was coming and being felt all through the truck. not just the front and being transmitted through the steering wheel. We had a vibration problem in our 23 Max Limited. Started to notice it around 25k miles and thought it was a tire balance issue. Had the stock 22s rebalanced and did not help anything. At around 30k we put on 20” wheels with 285/55 R20 Michelin Defenders and had a hell of a time with balancing them or so we thought. At around 50k started to hear what sounded like a wheel bearing noise coming from the front and finally got into the dealer around 55k. Dealer replaced both front hubs, said they were both bad, which i thought was odd. Get it back and vibration and noise is actually worse. I ended up putting it in gear on jack stands to troubleshoot and pinpointed to the front diff. Took it back to the dealer and after 2 weeks got it back and finally fixed. Turns out pinion bearing was bad as well as right hand carrier bearing, which actually spun and the race wallowed out the inside of the case.
I wonder with Ford ditching it he IWEs and spinning the front diff all the time if this is not going to be a more prevalent issue. Also wonder if this is not the source for some other’s vibration problems.
I think that is true that it is felt throughout... but if there is a front differential problem like we encountered that vibration will travel through the drivetrain since everything is spinning even in 2wd on the 22+. Again, just a theory from my experience on our 23.I was under the impression, perhaps wrongly, that the vibration was coming and being felt all through the truck. not just the front and being transmitted through the steering wheel.
I've found that anything screwed up on the front end is usually felt in the steering wheel, vibrations from the rear are felt under your ass. Regarding the CCD, I've had that on my 2021 KR and on my current Limited Stealth. Both have had General tires on them without much of an issue. Also both are standard WB. Be interesting to see if the extended WB is more prone to the vibration than the standard WB.I think that is true that it is felt throughout... but if there is a front differential problem like we encountered that vibration will travel through the drivetrain since everything is spinning even in 2wd on the 22+. Also, I feel like there is just harmonic issues with these. Road vibrations and bumps seem to resonate throughout chassis. Don't know if it is more prevalent on the Max vs the standard WB or not, but the 22" wheels just compound the issue. Ours does not have the CCD, which may change things as well.
When I test drove ours there was a slight vibration felt in the steering wheel. Told them I wanted it gone. It was delivered and rides beautiful. Firm but no vibration of any kind at any speed. Guess I was lucky or my dealer had a tire guy who knew what he was doing.July 2025 update.
Brought the vehicle in for pre-long distance travel service.
Oil change plus tire rotation.
In some miraculous fashion, the tire rotation completely disintegrated the vibration. I can drive the vehicle now close to 90 miles an hour and the vibration is nearly imperceptible.
I’m attributing this to the quality of the Michelin defenders/the most current rotation/who the hell knows…
It does appear that it’s going to take 20,000 miles and some luck with really good tires.
I’m wondering if there’s been any feedback on the 2025 models — particularly the Stealth editions and any vibration noticed.
I have grabbers on mine only problem was one out of balance from the factory. I've had pirelli's on a Charger SRT and they truly sucked! Wet or dry, horrible. If somebody were to give me a set I wouldn't mount them, I'd get rid of them one way or another.Hasn't it been decided already that the General Grabbers and whatever else used before Aug 2024 builds were the issue? That's presumably why Ford went with Pirelli Scorpion Verde after that. I have the Pirelli tires and never noticed it up to 100 MPH on the Limited Max (haven't drove it faster than that).
WOW!!!Took mine in on Friday for vibration and a clunking from drivers side front corner. Getting a new strut, only 1800 miles on the truck?!?! Hope that resolves vibration too.
Does yours still have the General Grabbers on it? Ours had one that would not balance last year when we bought it. Put a new set of Pirelli Scorpion ASplus 3's on it and the vibration went away! I was worried that they would not be a good tire in the winter, but even with what winter we had up in NW Minnesota last year, they were great on the ice and snow. I have to say they are the smoothest and quietest tires I have ever ran, even better than any Michelin I have had.And confirmed that one tire had excessive run out, so that is being replaced today. Fingers crossed that resolves it before a road trip to South Dakota and their 80 mph speed limits.
