    Yea mine had these codes when I first bought it. Like said the culprit was the elbow behind the throttle body. I bought 2 hoses from Ford and the rough idle went away and got better MPG. You can drive it forever with those codes and have no major drivability issues.

    PO171 PO174 are intake leaks. Check the PCV hoses that come off the valve covers to the intake. They usually rot at the rubber elbows and throw off the MAF sensor setting a code.

    Wow that came out pretty clean looking. On another forum I'm on people do this to Jeep Cherokee's also But I like the Expedition version better because it's got a full frame so the structure of the body is not compromised.

    Any pointers to get it to get more stations? The FM works fine but the AM band barely picks up 2 stations. This is the factory Ford radio in my 97 Expedition.     Search my threads. This may help. I'd give you a link but it's kinda hard to on a phone. This thread explains how common PCV hoses rot and cause symptoms like yours.

    Yea water and ford engines = misfire. Like said above.. Let it dry or pull out all the coils and blow the holes out with air.

    This is a 5.4L right? I don't see what the exhaust manifold has anything to do with it misfiring. Did they print out a diagnostic sheet for you? I know it's common for the manifolds to leak at the back of the heads but I'm not buying its causing your misfire.

    Clean it up real good and put JB weld over the pin hole. I do this for customers that chose the cheap fix.

    Did all of mine. It took about 40 minutes being experienced with 5.4's. Remove all the coils then blow the holes out with compressed air because they collect dirt. Then get to work with extensions and swivels.
